"We're now back from our epic trip round Spain.
The van did us proud. We're definitely glad we upgraded the battery and we're able to manage a few days without EHU no problem. LPG wasn't a problem and we don't think we need to upgrade to a diesel heater. Quite a few places we stayed had EHU but we did a lot of cooking using LPG and used the heater a few times and the LPG tank is still over 3/4 full. TBH our van is so compact and well insulated you only need the heater on for a few minutes and the van is toasty. Also we have a low voltage electric heater we were able to use when we had EHU. I wouldn't recommend a diesel heater unless you were planning a lot of "off grid" winter camping in colder areas.
Hope this info useful for your clients. We're giving the van a good clean and then we're off to Slovenia and Croatia in April."
