We recently handed over a 21-Reg Pop Top Micro Camper to one very happy Orange Camper, and today, we’re going to give you the behind-the-scenes tour.

Micro in name, micro in nature
Our Pop Top Micro Camper is an Orange Campers’ conversion that’s a brilliant option for those who want to save space (it sits at only 4.96 metres long and 1.93 metres high – including pop-top) – and money!
You don't need to worry about height restrictions on multi-storey car parks as it's nice and narrow.
And because of its size, a big bonus to this 'van is that you can use it as a 'car' for your daily drive. So if you want to save money or only have limited driveway space, this could swap out for the family car and works just the same – with added 'boot' space and a much more comfortable journey for everyone.
Added bike rack
As you can see below, on the back our customer has requested a bike rack be added. This robust and spacious rack is perfect for many a cycling adventure in future.
Another feature on the back is a reversing camera can be installed. This gives you much more visibility for reversing and parking – and keeping an eye on your bikes on the back!
Stylish inside
Inside, the customers opted for a very stylish colour scheme of gloss light grey on the cupboards and grey RIB seating to match.
The colours go beautifully with the flooring and silver fridge, too!
A fully working campervan
Inside, you have all the features you'd expect – and want! – in a luxury campervan, including a twin hob, a great little fridge and lots of cupboard space.
It has everything a bigger campervan has, just in a more space-efficient way!
A practical toilet
Under the sink, there is storage for a portable toilet. And we've thought about how you use this toilet no matter when the need arises.
When the beds are fully extended, there is still room to have the portable toilet out in the main area, so you don't have to worry about awkward manoeuvring in the dark!
Comfortable seats – and bed
We install crash-tested RIB seating with Isofix safety points for your safety and security.
In the daytime, the seats work great as a 'family car' with plenty of space for four people to sit comfortably. The front seat can also spin around to face the back if you opt for a single swivel.
The rear double seat can be pulled forward, giving you extra flexibility – for example, passengers can come closer to the front or if you need some extra boot space.
For the nighttime, the back seats effortlessly transition into a comfortable, generous-sized bed with a nice firm mattress. You can also have a topper if you like, which can be stored neatly away.
For more sleepers, you can also sleep kids and/or adults upstairs as well with our double roof bed.
Our windows
For a good night's sleep, we have blackout curtains installed in all our ‘vans.
And we like to use clear factory glass on all our windows, too.
A lot of companies will put tinted, or privacy glass in, which we feel makes it feel a bit dark and dingy inside.
However, we prefer the clear glass, as it makes the ‘van so nice and light inside!
Extra features
The van comes with a leisure battery, but some choose to upgrade to a lithium battery plus solar panel for extra power and off gridding capacity.

The Micro Camper can be built either brand new or on a quality, second-hand, low-mileage nearly new 'van. Plus, there are finance options available.
We offer a three-year warranty on our 'vans, as well as a year's aftermarket warranty on second hand models for extra peace of mind
