With the new demo van finally ready, we couldn't wait for our first family test trip - all the way down to the beautiful Tregarton campsite in Cornwall.
We were all feeling excited as we packed up and hit the road in late July... that is until 4-year-old Charlie asked if we were nearly there, before we'd even left Sheffield…!!
It was a bit of a drive - although very comfortable in the short wheel base Trouvaille with extra spacious seats for everyone - but so worth it for the week of lovely family adventures that Tregarton brought us.
Surfing and playing at the beach was definitely a highlight, but equally as lovely were lazy days by the pool, where the boys could swim to their hearts content while we got to relax and enjoy a bit of Cornish sun.
Each fun-filled day was rounded of with a relaxing evening back at the campervan enjoying a family meal - cooked either on the domsetic 2 burner hob, or our favourite treat: a BBQ cooked on the very handy external BBQ point.
Of course there was plenty of space for the children to play in the van until bed time, when Charlie slept in his favourite Cabbunk hammock attached to the front seats, and Billy was cosy and content tucked away in the roof bed zzzzzzzzzzzzz…!
Our luxury full size double bed meant that mum and dad were sure to get a good night's rest too, waking up ready to say yes to new adventures the following morning!
